Surah Luqman is one of my favorites because I can experience the guidance of a loving parent through the Quran. God really gives us everything in the most beautiful ways. This Surah is one of my personal testaments to the existence of Allah, al-Waliy, al-Wadud.

Q25:47 "He is the One Who has made the night for you as a cover, and [made] sleep for resting, and the day for rising."

Today I learned that "Al-Furqan," meaning "the standard" is one of the names of the Quran. The end of this surah lists qualities of a servant of The Most Merciful. It's a good topic to do some tazkiyah on.

I just finished Surah Mu'minun. It primarily compared the believers and disbelievers in action and in their fates on the last day with examples from various prophets' histories. I like how the surah ended. Allah instructs us through His prophet to ask Allah to forgive and have mercy. It's a good reminder for those who believe. May Ar-Raheem show us His mercy and may al-Afuw wipe our slates clean of sins. Ameen.

Finished Surah al-Anbiya, which was stories of past prophets as advice to Rasulullah (SAW). Starting Surah Hajj today insha Allah

I finished chapter 18, Surah al-Kahf, "The Cave." This surah shares the stories of the young people of the cave, the 2 men & their gardens, Musa & al-Khidr's encounter story, and the story of Dhul Qarnain.

This Sarah is a beautiful one, and one of my favorites to learn from the tafsir of it. There are so many lessons to gain from it.

I just finished Surah An-Nahal, named after the bees God mentions in it. The main takeaway from this surah is that we have a lot to be grateful for. Allah names then describes His favors to us. He warns us & mentions our reward & refers to Prophet Abraham (PBUH) as a model for gratitude. I really liked this surah.

Also Allah says "we gave you animals & you like to see them as they graze" & I was like FAXXX cus I do!
