I have found this one really hard to get into. It has such a heavy emotional start up for all the characters and I have learned from reading it that I really dislike self-loathing characters. I love the characters who are self-assured in themselves even if circumstance leaves them grieving… I understand it is in an effort to give good character development but it feels whiny and annoying
