the second part of this book is so different!

i love a rich period piece but you can tell this isn't stafford's best work. the brother just up and died randomly and you're like... ok....

Learning how to read again. I’ve been trying to read this book for well over two years and could never make past page 15. Somehow sped through the next 85 pages today engrossed in the workings of 1930s Boston.
