Wonderfully written for such horribly tragic content. Easy to read but hard to digest, i knew so many breadcrumbs of the U.S. history of institutional racism but never read a work that so fully connects the dots

Also there’s something wrong with my ebook version where every time I finish a chapter it says the total length increased??? At first it said ~700 pages and now it says 1181??? Not gonna lie, intimidating, but I get the feeling this is the kind of book that is at least 20% bibliography. I am determined to finish it and would recommend to everyone, the format makes it much easier to read in short bursts.
