this has turned into an exploration of humanity and repentance. genuinely excited to see how this concludes. i don’t know how each book of the vampire chronicles achieves a completely new aspect of vampirism and history but it’s great.

this finally picked up and i’m invested. i know miss anne rice loves to drag some shit out but she almost lost me. definitely a more introspective and solemn book than the previous 3.

idk why i started reading this and now i feel like i gotta finish it. my interest in these books drop a little bit with each book and this one hasn’t grabbed me very much so far.
