Right off the bat, the book's name sake asks, "How many things are wrong with this story?" making me think of the tho pictures side by side that have differences you need to spot or Goosebump books that you get to choose your adventure.

"Planets"
paired with The Cat in the Hat
for leaving a pink ring in the tub.

"Sea Horse and Saw Horse"
Is it a tongue twister or
an exercise in friendship? lol

I love "A Monstrous Mouse"!
Just think about all the connections I can make.
1)Movie "Honey, I Blew Up the Baby."
2)Book series specifically "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie"
are two.

"Bobby Boaster and His Toaster"
1) "Yeah Toast" funny song
2) BBC Show "Red Dwarf" and the talking toaster obsessed with toast!

"A Social Mixer" is not appropriate for children as I have marked others in the book, but I have to make a connection to the TV Show Rosanne where her friend's husband was a construction worker and was poured into a bridge and they did not dredge him out before it hardened.

When I think of "Nails" and dads, I think "tough as nails" but this poem is hilarious.

"Mixed-up School" is hilarious. I would ask my students to draw pictures of any of their favorite verses or maybe all. This is an activity I can see for the whole book but this poem in particular.

Great idea to talk to kids about their pets. How would you try to keep a dog in the yard? Use a rope. How would you keep a snake or other small animal in a cage where the bars are too far apart? Read poem.

"The Skeleton Walks" Does this take place in 2 years because Thanksgiving precedes Halloween in it.
