In the nonfiction book Vindacated there is a very interesting structure. There are two major structures one of them from the author, Jose Canseco, about his battle with coming out as a steroid user. And a different part of the story was the battle of the MLB to keep the games fair. So there are two parallel storys in this book. It is very good that they are interweaved together because the two sides are fighting.

In the book Vindicated it is about Major League Baseballs "steroid area". This was a time where drug tests where not required in Major Leagues. Because of this many players took steroids to get stronger and hit balls farther. In this the author was a pro baseball player that played during the so called steroid area. In this book Jose tells about why he quit and how he urged other players on his team to quit also.
