In the nonfiction book Vindacated there is a very interesting structure. There are two major structures one of them from the author, Jose Canseco, about his battle with coming out as a steroid user. And a different part of the story was the battle of the MLB to keep the games fair. So there are two parallel storys in this book. It is very good that they are interweaved together because the two sides are fighting.

I am reading a biography about Ronald Reagan. The authors tone in the book is very scholarly and very direct. It is very scolarly beacuse it is a history lesson about Ronald's life. It is very direct a because the author tells you his life and the order it happens in. I like the tone the author used. He used the tone to make the book way more enjoyable for people that love history. This book was a great read.

In the autobiography about Ronald Regan's life. In this book what I found compelling is his incline to president. He starred his first job as a life guard in a small lake town, he became a actor in western movies, then he was California's governor, then he was elected president of the United States. I was compelled about the story. I was also very interested in his work effort to manage all that in his life.

When I last made my update on Branch Rickey's own team refused to play with Jackie. A minor character in the book was a Dodgers player named Pee Wee Rease, he was the Dodgers star shortstop before Jackie Robinson was signed. He is important to the book beacuse, in one game when Jackie Robenson was facing harsh critics and threats to kill Jackie and branch. Pee Wee was always there on his side to sopporting them.
