Well - the review is going to be interesting. I definitely don't understand those 5-star reviews.

I'm still trying to figure out exactly what Hannah is supposed to be. She evidently works for Queen Victoria, but hasn't met the lady. I'm assuming the Duchess is her 'handler', but I'm not sure how that works. It sort of boggles my mind to think that the straight-laced Queen Victoria would sanction out-and-out murder and basically women's lib.

How did the duchess come to inherit all the money and properties? Her husband died - where is the new duke? Something is off with all of that.

The duke is constantly referred to as Lieutenant General. In England, the proper form of address for a man who holds both the title of a duke and the military rank of Lieutenant General would be to use his ducal title in most instances. When addressing him formally, you would refer to him as "Your Grace". In a military context, however, he might be addressed by his rank, which would simply be "General".
