It’s an odd, yet rewarding experience to read the words of someone you were never truly aware of, yet they were so engrained in the zeitgeist of early 20th century film and Hollywood.

Outside of the influence of her name and mystique to Lana Del Rey’s namesake, I know nothing about this woman, so it will be an interesting undertaking studying an unknown life through the eyes if of the woman herself.
