This reads much more like a history book than a theology book

Good neighbors and good citizens most often come from good families, in which the love of God and one’s fellow men have been instilled since childhood. Wise parental guidance, firm discipline, and the virtuous example of parents in meeting their religious and social responsibilities enable younger generations to mature into godly adults.

A good mother’s instruction and a faithful father’s protection are invaluable in the rearing of children, particularly in the ways of virtue. spiritual and moral formation is at least as important for wholesome childhood development into adolescence and responsible adulthood as intellectual education and physical training.
