This is reading much like Gabler’s Disney bio, “The Triumph of the American Imagination” in that it psychoanalyses a complex subject. Its perspective is obviously fond of “Sparky” but it isn’t afraid to question him. He claims to be ostracized and bullied but none of his classmates have memories of him being bullied. He may have isolated himself.

It’s a sad book but an engrossing one so far.
