does the author not take anything seriously? does every other sentence have to be some quirky bullshit? can i get at least one fucking paragraph that actually moves the plot along & isn't the author trying to be funny or witty? can the author make it so i don't go ohhhhhh so not like other girls of her every fucking time the fmc does or says anything? decided to read this bc the guy on the cover looks kinda cute (don't judge me) but the fact that i was not forewarned that this was written in first person? already 1 star off ms hazelwood. also no warning on peak cringe dialogue trying to appeal to millenials? another star gone. but that's neither here nor there i will be finishing this bc some authors need to be humbled by a review of less than 2 stars.
