Tamlin's complete personality change just doesn't make sense to me. He was so in love with her, supposedly. I get the explanations for him being so controlling and locking her away. We also saw some of that control in the 1st book. But he suddenly ignores her except in bed. He doesn't notice her depression or that she's fading? I feel like this needed to be developed better so it makes more sense.
