3 of 3 this already feels much more novel than the second entry, so much so that I'm rethinking my rating. Children of Ruin while doing some cool stuff borrowed way too much from the first novel and the sum was slightly less than the first. Won't be downgrading on here though, I've seen Tchaikovsky's author headshot and I like his vibe, couldn't do that to him.
