This book. I will end up screaming in frustration. Page 88: wtf is going on with this sentence: “The belly is the seat of our basic desires, which in Laozi’s view are quite modest: some plain food to eat, water to drink, a roof over the head, maybe a little low-key fun in the sack, and basta.” Wtf does “basta” mean in this context? I took Italian, I actually DO know what it means.
