i don’t like this book but i must finish

i am a little disappointed with this book, but i am going to finish it. about 1/3 of the way through and it is moving too quick and too slow at the same time. i know more about background characters than i do the main characters love interest. meet me in paradise, this authors first book, was much more enjoyable in the sense that you really KNEW the characters. i hope it gets better
