I used to read romance that used the pregnancy trope, which now is definitely NOT something I think should be in any plot. I'm trying to just figure this story out and find what's so redeeming about it.
I wanted to read a perspective like Win's, both as a child of a teen mom and as someone with limb difference who is also fiercely independent. But now I feel like this book is 90% pregnancy plot and I'm not about it.

I don't like it when people are condescending, but I don't like it when people are really rude back, too. There's actually been a lot of cringe-worthy moments so far. (Sarah. Every time Sarah is there.) Looking at the reviews, I'm trying to hold out long enough for the discussion of the themes that are more interesting to me. I'm not sure if I will if the discussion of those themes is just more monologue-ing.
