The negative self talk is obnoxious and dumb.

She acts so childishly.

I really hate the hot mess heroine trope. Why introduce that so late in the book?! She's been on her game until now. Ugh.

The heroine is so judgmental towards people for really petty and kind of icky reasons.

Judgmental against a guy for his food choices so it sounds like he has BS and just now, judgmental against a woman for wearing too much make up and having caterpillar like eyebrows

False! People who have parents that don't cook often learn to cook because they need to eat food and their parents don't do it. Not saying that their conversation couldn't be true but having a parent that doesn't cook is not a reason for someone not to cook. Likewise having a parent that cooks is not a reason that someone knows how to cook!

Why are we mocking someone's food choices? 🙄
