this book is one of the most well researched texts i’ve ever read. literally an airTIGHT demonstration of how systematic racism & caste is. even if it’s not legally allowed, the private sector will find a way. & if the private sector feels like “helping” AKA exploiting black americans, the government prevents it.

he talks about euphemisms, highlighting how terms like "inner city" mask the reality of intentional systemic segregation. how we don’t call it that after white affluent folks gentrify the area. how language is a powerful tool in shaping and reframing narratives
