I've read and liked Pacat's adult stuff before so I had high expectations going in and was curious to see how she'd do YA, and I wasn't disappointed. She can write some really interesting complex and messy characters too, so I'm really looking forward to seeing how things develop in the next two books now that it's past all the set up.
