A chapter about psychiatry and dying towards the end, apart from elaborating more about her father.

I feel like I am the only one who think that the sypnosis at the back page is not a good one. After 2/3 of the story, Rachel narrates about her father with terminal cancer.

What is relevant to me is Rachel's description on the aging process.

Rachel elaborates how or why her field in palliative medicine can be impactful for her patients.

Rachel's experience saving death.

Patients' comparison.

Rachel's first encounter with patient Maureen as a medical student, and how she has to go outside her job scope as empathy towards Maureen.

Rachel's shift in her profession - from journalism to studying chemistry - although in the previous chapter she confesses that she likes these two fields.
