I've listened to 3 hours of it and I'm really turned off by the flippant attitude of the smug sounding narrator/protagonist. The overt "I'm telling you a story and I'm purposely withholding to be clever" narrative framing is irritating too, and actually kind of a dull.

I actually want this guy to get torn apart by alien creatures...

I waited month for this through BorrowBox but I think it'll have to be a DNF!
