f___________ck! This whole essay, In Defense of Saccharin(e), made my mouth water, it was so good. "We dismiss sentimentality in order to construct ourselves as arbiters of artistry and subtlety."

What are you thinking of doing for "nonfiction science?" Now I'm thinking maybe Seeing Voices or What We See When We Read. Or maybe Moonwalking with Einstein: The Art and Science of Remembering Everything.
For the "collection of essays" I was planning on reading Sister Outsider: Essays and Speeches but The Empathy Exams: Essays would totally count. And it's really, really good! (I think you'd kinda love it, too)
