…is there a reason one of these stories is Christmas Carol fanfiction? There wasn’t much point to it being about young Scrooge when he was a side character. Nothing would have been lost if it had been about original characters.

I must be crazy, because there’s no way everyone but me enjoyed A Christmas Promise. It took forever to read and just meandered the entire time. How is it one of the highest-rated short stories in this book?
