“I was all alone in the pavilion, the wind whistling through the open spaces. Lighting flashed over the lake, the streaking jagged bolts striking the water several miles out. The rain continued, although it lessened somewhat. However, the waves continued to build, their roar filling the air as they crashed against the shore… This is a short book, why are there so many paragraphs like this that add nothing?
