This could go two ways… 1. Pickup the pace, get to the plot, and succeed, or 2. Play where in the world is Carmen SanDiego looking for this vampire, dick around convincing him to play his part, extrapolate on the budding relationship in a completely boring and tiresome way, throw in an afterthought plot to hype the drama, and end on a cliffy to sell the next book. Unfortunately, looking like Option 2 is the winner.
