Random quote from Nathan Leopold on page 37 made me blink. Not that Leopold and Loeb have bearing on the topic at hand, and that would be a pretty drastic segue for the author to make, but it still surprised me.

Already learning some stuff I didn’t know (ugh). This book was referenced in “Bombs Over Bikini,” which I just finished the other day, and then I saw a discarded copy in the library book sale. Upsetting, but interesting, but upsetting.
