I’m only 30 pages in, but this is so beautifully written that I want to savor every word. Written by a Yosemite park ranger! This first part’s narrative is like poetry in the voice of a young black boy. Gorgeous imagery.

I have so many books and nowhere to store them so I pretty much avoid purchasing them, besides -- I do work at a library now... However, I just purchased this book because I do not want to let it go. I did opt for the Kindle version though so I can re-read and share my highlights and notes with others easily.
