WTF??? I mean, really… WTF???

No no no no no!! I want the details!!! Don’t do this to meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

“You don’t want to hear it, do you?” I try to keep my own anger and frustration in check.
“No.I don’t want to hear it.Mark my words.He’ll be back in the morning with a present.”
“And that will make it all okay?”
Shane gives me a smile so falsely brave it breaks my heart.He says,“That will make it all okay.”

Oh Shane.

It’s on the tip of my tongue to ask, “Then why would you pitch him down the stairs?” But I can’t. For one, this doesn’t even seem like the same person I saw last night. I am doubting my own eyes, my own recollection. Stupidly, I ask, “So it’s just the two of you living here?”

Hmm, what is going on?

“Shane McCallister. I just moved in today.” He casts a nervous glance up the stairs. “Well, John and I just moved in this afternoon. From Chicago.” He tries to give me a smile, but it comes out sad.
I nod. “I thought you said his name was Cole.”
Shane laughs and his cheeks redden. “Did I? I meant John. Sorry.”

Oooooh, something weird is going on.

Would it be so terrible to sleep with him? I mean, it’s been at least two weeks since I’ve enjoyed the charms of anyone other than Mr. Thumb and his four sons.
