Daily reading of the Bible sometimes has you feeling awful I mean like God can you take your foot off my neck? A lot of these self help books that promote me me me me are the work of the devil cuz honestly it’s rarely about you and always about God . Sigh and I know I need to lessen my love of section 8 ghetto music (sexxy red, glorilla etc) just a tough Bible week 😔 .

Romans 5:1-6 had me face down in tears this morning . So many of us are in the unpopular “job” season in parts of our life ( I don’t even like reading job because I don’t want to go through what he did lol ) but that tribulation to perseverance to character to hope pipeline is a hard one but a sign of Gods love for us and it’s necessary. The Bible and café Bustelo has me on a high this morning.

Reading the genealogy is always a struggle versus the stories and that was no different in numbers and now in 1 chronicles but we persist 🥹🙏🏾 I keep hearing Voddie Baucham say don’t skip the paragraphs with all the names they’re important 😂
