Here we go with a topic near and dear to my heart. It's full of facts. He was vegetarian for years and then had the lightbulb moment and made the switch to veganism. For all the reasons.

It is dear to me too. A wake up call for the next step is good. Authors and fellow animal defenders must be careful not to snub vegetarians. It is a helpful, life changing step that gets faces off plates. All or nothing scares people off. Every big effort is respected. Next, try vegan cheese, omit eggs from recipes. In Canada, we must find winter boots, parkas, shoes, and mittens without fur or leather.

You're so right there! We must be mindful of this. Vegetarians are definitely on the right path and often very eager to try veganism to upgrade their journey. People are coming to veganism for one or more of the three reasons, for animals, environment, or health. We should learn to be kind and supportive to help all interested people to try it for themselves. And yes dear Carolyn, with winters near New York City I had to find non-leather boots and all the rest, too. But winter in Canada comes early, I know from my visits there around our Thanksgiving in November. Brrrr. I recommend going to challenge22.com for the 22 day challenge! It's a popular helpful resource for vegetarians, new vegans, or anyone at all really who is curious or interested. It's got recipes, information, and even personal online mentors and registered dietitians. I'm applying for mentorship now. 10 comments or an hour a day within Facebook groups isn't too hard and to be a part of this support network will help me grow. And helping people makes me happy!
