Sometimes you leave the one you love for the one you love

I made a judgement too quickly. Wait. Actually, I take that back. My judgement is still true, but there's more to the book to enjoy. This might be one of Hoover's best works.

“Just because we didn’t end up on the same wave, doesn’t mean we aren’t still a part of the same ocean” (218)

“I love him. I still do and always will” (218)

“maybe Atlas wasn’t supposed to be my whole life. Maybe he was only supposed to be part of it. Maybe love isn’t something that comes full circle. It just ebbs and flows, in and out, just like the people in our lives” (217)

A part of my loves Lily and Ryle’s romance… and the other is screaming at the plot holes, things that don’t make sense, and the tragic journal entry writing. Every time I think the plot is great, but the writing just need polishing.
