Finished "The Pastel City". As I was getting close to the end I wasn't sure it was going to stick the landing, but he pulled it off.

Finished "In Viriconium".
Less of an "adventure" than the other two. I think I liked it less than Storm of Wings for most of it, then about the same by the end. The "plague" is a cool idea.

"A Storm of Wings" less to my taste than "The Pastel City" as I don't think I really go in for that kind of surreal stuff. Not bad tho.

pastel city definitely improved for me on re read. first time around I was like, that was fun and compact. second time is when I got to really enjoy the language and character stuff since I already knew what all was going on basically.

a storm of wings is good also, but frustrating and kind of a slog because it gets so abstract and is a lot less character-focused
