"A Storm of Wings" less to my taste than "The Pastel City" as I don't think I really go in for that kind of surreal stuff. Not bad tho.

Finished "In Viriconium".
Less of an "adventure" than the other two. I think I liked it less than Storm of Wings for most of it, then about the same by the end. The "plague" is a cool idea.

Finished "The Pastel City". As I was getting close to the end I wasn't sure it was going to stick the landing, but he pulled it off.

it’s a book with a lot of cool paragraphs that is ultimately not that great of book I think. justice for benedict paucemanly

Justice? He was the one who told the bugs to invade Earth. Also his ultimate fate was by his own request anyway.The bits I liked best were probably the very beginning and the battles (at the palace and in the bug city) at the climax.
