Are you kidding me right now?! She is so annoying! Why would she spit in his face and slap him? Didn't she see how many people he's put to their death for lesser violations, like failing to pay attention to him cause they happen to be half deaf? Her irrational behavior is making me crazy.
Also...he really does coddle her too much.

Pretty intriguing. I can't say I'm a fan of Elena, the FMC, but trying to remember that she's an 18 yo girl and maybe her actions and reactions are a reflection of her young age. It might be too much for me to expect her to be cunning. It's a cruel world for the prisoners right now. I admit I've cringed more than once at some of the brutality. The waiting for her "punishments' is making me anxious. LOL

@translan Her mom just hid her in the wardrobe when the enemy soldiers come knocking and they take her mom to the room where she’s hiding and proceed to rape her mom while she’s in there and then the mom has to ask the second soldier to rape her and that soldier rejects her by calling her scum and shoots and kills her. 🫣 of course, the FMC yells out for her mom cause she’s TSTL and gets captured. The second soldier then proceeds to try to rape her….
TSTL? To Stupid To Learn? I'm looking forward to your rating/review on this!! If you recommend it, I'm reading the shit out of it. Lol.
@Translan LOL. I'm the same. Too many typos and embarrassing "too late to change" texts, etc. You're too funny. In my mind - TSTL is Too Stupid to Live. I was so annoyed when she did that. Her mother just sacrificed herself to save her and suffered for it and then at the end, she cries out for her mother like an idiot? The book has got all the feels and intensity. I am so excited to keep going but doing a little detour...
(I was giving a book rec to @Clarice yesterday and listed one that I couldn't remember the plot for yet gave 4.5 stars to so sneaked a peek last night and now zooming through that like the addict I am. It's Wolf and the Wildflower by Ella Fields). It kind of hurts to read it but loving the burn of it. Coming back to this one later today, I hope.
Yes, we're 100% book-sluts! And proud of it :) Slut-cemetery is where I'll be buried, with my Kindle...
