Reminds me of Beauty and the Beast, Disney version. Belle is Sorcha, Beast is Eamonn, Mrs Potts is Oona, Gaston is Geralt...but her dad is a pimp (!? a kind one, somehow) and her sisters all prostitutes (all somehow blonde while Sorcha is not). There are already inconsistencies/plot holes that I'm noticing. Like one character says the island is visible in a few weeks, another in 6 days, a few pages apart? 🤔?!

More of Sorcha being very basic and yet all the Fae respond with "you're not like other humans". Also the h/H have spend very little time together but "love" has been brought up already. Lust for sure has been in the building a while. And on this page she refers to the hero by name but she's not supposed to know it yet. I bought a special edition because FOMO and I really thought I'd like this but it needs polishing

Still finding inconsistencies in plot, but also am starting to feel that while *conversations* suggest Sorcha is smart and kind (the fae are surprised/impressed by her), she isn't *actually* that smart. Like she has a very mild argument with the hero and runs blindly into a storm. It was dramatic and made no sense. Or she follows the creepy voice from the portal even when she thinks it's a trap? Girl.
