My library loan has expired and I don't know when I'll borrow this book again, or if I even want to. I don't feel very drawn into it as the plot feels extremely contrived. I don't like how obvious the manipulation is as I would rather figure it out myself as a reader. There are also some writing things that irk me, including the overuse of single-line paragraphs and dialogue tags that aren't "says."
