The DC Snipers. Having lived through it, to this day I blame police Chief Moose for the later murders. He wanted to play the big-shot hero, had everyone looking for a white van instead of a Chevy Caprice. When the truth came out, it was no time at all before they were caught. My parents were visiting during that time! Part of me will NEVER stop being angry over Moose’s hubris.
