This isn’t a morally grey character, this is a description of a narcissist.

Now I remember why I gave this book 3 stars. Guy with the stupid name isn’t likable. He isn’t a character who’s call Arrogant for plot points. Kingfisher is written with true arrogance. Like the author has trauma, but doesn’t even know it.

Started my reread with the audiobook. I’m 4:04 in and Stella Bloom, the narrator has already given me the ick.
How can someone that gets paid to be a narrator not know that THE and THEE are two different words, with two different meanings?
And how can the producer NOT correct them?

Well… that felt a little forced. But I’m still digging the book
