A very enjoyable book. I loved his explanation of difficult scientific concepts and how he blended his personal background with the topics concerning Ceres.

My criticism is to do with the rushed nature of the chapter covering science in Andalusia. Also, his explanation of the atrophy of Arabic sciences about the same time as the Renaissance was not totally convincing.
