THEY GOT THEIR HAPPY ENDING. I screamed when Charlie came back to New York. Everything worked out. This book taught me that even the anti-hero protagonist deserves her happy ending. Even if she chooses work, let her be. Charlie Lastra is one of the best book boyfriends. 5/5 stars for me. And the epilogue where Charlie has a velvet box in his jacket that he keeps fiddling with 😭😭 My heart 😭✋

“The future will be the present, and this will become the past. But not yet.” That quote shows me that the moment we are living in now will be the past eventually. You should make the most out of the past.

I haven’t picked up this book in a bit but I will finish it soon so I can read my other summer reads.
