the opening chapter of this book is genuinely one of the best i’ve ever read. for a book written in the 1930’s it’s remarkably easy to read and like, weirdly relatable??? the plot is also very unique. i can already tell this is going to be a new all time favorite book of mine and ive only read 7 chapters.
