Really! Really? Why does George fall in love with Sarah? Why does he visit her? My main feeling is one of disbelief about their relationship. Perhaps a plot twist would have helped. You don't much care for the victim nor the murderer so you're left with George. Disappointing read but at least I finished it.

The plot revolves around the emotional life of George Webb (ex-husband and ex-policeman). But the plot relies on the reader believing that George has fallen in love with Sarah. Unfortunately I found it unbelievable. There is no revelation, no last minute twist in the tale. And there is no humour at all. Pretty disappointing.
