The plot is kind of getting in over its own head. Addie is miraculously the #1 target among all these trafficking rings. The vigilante sections with Zade feel almost like superhero fanfiction. Z is kind of a Mary sue ngl, the writing quality is ok but his vigilante alter ego feels undeserved. Man is constantly in fights and hunting criminals down but doesn’t get hurt once? Ever? And like, no military experience or martial arts has been mentioned, just that he’s a hacker. There’s no explanation given for how a computer geek is this good with a gun, he’s just a guy. It feels a bit corny
