The slowburn is absolutely amazing

We finally got some smut! I was waiting for it bc a lot of people said this book was spicy. I think they need to read more smutty books if they think this is already spicy. And I get it's a slowburn, but let's not exaggerate the spice level.

I love the trials and the slow burn. The book reminds me of fbaa, with the mysteries and everything.
Ps. I don't trust Vincent. He just wants Oraya to become his Coriatae so he can use her powers. That is why he adopted her bc he could see what she was. He only ever cared about power. That shows in the way he killed his family to become the king.

It's not as good as I'd hoped. It doesn’t capture my attention as I'd hoped. Hopefully, it'll get better.
