Patzy Let me know your thoughts on this one when you're done. I may read it but I'm not sure if it's good or not

David Well, it's not a novel, it's a campaign book for the Delta Green ttrpg. That said, it is phenomenal, brilliant stuff, but dark as hell. Caleb Stokes weaves so many details into years of history and gameplay, with a ton of amazingly done connective tissue. Touches some difficult themes such as child abuse, systematic neglect, the illusion of free will, etc.
Makes for a compelling read, and will be a deep campaign to run, as long as everyone at the table is alright with their agents witnessing some harsh stuff. They get to do something about it, but the trigger warning is important, because not everyone will be comfortable. Which is alright, if so, there are ways to work around it a bit, and if not, there are other campaigns to run.

But the final analysis? The book is messed up brilliance.
