I got an ARC for The Fury of the Gods. It's not enough for me to read chapter summaries to get caught up, I need to feel like I'm in the thick of it again. It's been a few years, but I still remember these scenes so clearly. I am so, so excited for this reread. These are some of my favorite novels ever, and Orka is one of my favorite characters ever.

I think I just haven't been in the mood for Norse stuff, so this book has been a bit of a slog. However I really enjoy Orka, and I'm starting to like Elvar more as well. Varg feels a bit aimless and I just want to see him do more. Overall I am liking this though and I definitely see myself reading the sequel. There's a lot of intrigue, I just want to learn more about this world already.

Fully invested in Orka, somewhat with Varg, not at all with Elvar

one of these days im gonna dedicate the evening to just reading. it will be glorious.

I'm definitely intrigued and I like the perspectives so far. My favorite perspective right now is the family we follow. The setting isn't usually one I gravitate to but I'm excited by this book so far, and I've only heard good things.
