I abandoned it as soon as the protag crossed the ravine or whatever bc she was SO OBNOXIOUS, HOW CAN FOLKS STAND IT, but yeah the death rate seemed dumb

I was expecting a level of dumbness and actively enjoy dumbness in books sometimes, but this one is just annoying me
