reeaaall dense read so far but dostoevsky’s an absolute poet and so good at conveying ideas in narrative

the philosophical, religious and moral ideas he’s talking about are so tightly interlinked with the story that it never feels there’s any preaching going on or sacrifices are being made to the narrative to accommodate ideas (looking at you song of achilles)
